| Chase is feeling lonely and left out at a time when all his friends seem to be finding their mates. He’s beginning to wonder if he will ever find his own, when out of the blue he feels his mate close. After a search of security videos of incoming people, he sees the man he’s looking for arriving on his planet he knows that he’s finally found the one to fulfill him. Unfortunately, the man he believes to be his mate is in the company of a major crime lord, and is probably a thief.
Caz is a thief, and a good one. It’s not something that he proud of or that he’s doing voluntarily, and he’s deeply ashamed that he’s being forced into stealing. When an erotic encounter with Chase leaves all his secrets exposed, he’s devastated. Will he be able to forgive Chase? Will Chase be able to accept what his mate has had to do? The Bond of the Maleri 3: Love and Law moved along at a good pace, but sometimes I felt like things where being left out. I never really felt that the two belonged together; although they had some feelings for each other they didn’t seem to be a life couple. I guess for me it was hard to believe that Caz would forgive Chase nearly as fast as he did, and that Chase would automatically accept what Caz had to do for his boss and not wonder why he didn’t find an alternative. The Bond of the Maleri 3: Love and Law is a good story; there is plenty of action and adventure in it that kept me on my toes and captured my interest, making it a worthwhile read.
