Mandi's Lucky Day

Beth Morrow
Contemporary romance
Available from The Wild Rose Press
January 2008

Mandi has never been into the easy come, easy go type of dating cycle like her best friend Kayla. She's waiting for someone that will be long term. Aunt Lucille and Uncle Patrick were her role models. The kind of love they had is what she wants. What is she going to do now that she lost one of her lucky earrings that she received from her aunt?

Beth Morrow pens a great tale of two friends as different as night and day in their dating styles and attitudes. Mandi's character is a little old fashioned but I like what Ms. Morrow has done with the story. And I like the way she develops Alex, the one who finds the earring. She portrays him as such a sweet man for a boss in the corporate world. This seems like one of those stories that never grows old. It's the kind we like to read to remind ourselves of the fact that there are still people with deeper values in life like Mandi.
