Cassandra Hudson has the "gift." She senses things before they happen-sees things that no one else sees. Her recurring nightmare takes her from the Bay area in California to Greenwood, South Carolina in search of answers. Imagine her surprise when the man who comes to her rescue when she has a flat tire turns out to be the handsome man who appears in her bad dream. Dan Morgan is a retired police officer, also from the Bay area, who returned home to SC-to a beautiful home on a lake where he enjoys swimming, boating and fishing.

Cassandra's believes that her late husband died in a tragic auto accident on his way home to her. She cherishes the final post card she received from him and has no idea it will become instrumental in solving another mystery-one she didn't set out to solve. Of course, Cassandra and Dan have an immediate attraction, and although he is totally spooked by her "gift", he agrees to help her find the answers to explain the nightmares that feature him, his home and her deceased husband.

Man of her Dreams by Dee S. Knight is a tale of love, sex, mystery, sex, fear, sex, hate, sex, attraction, sex...I think you get the picture. There's a whole lot of steamy sex going on. I like good sex scenes, but I had a problem following the mystery plot because the hero and heroine were constantly falling into bed at the most inappropriate times, in my opinion. The sex seemed to overshadow the storyline and I found myself skipping through those repetitive scenes to get to the answers about Cassandra's strange dream. A little less sex would have greatly enhanced a very entertaining story. Despite having my glasses fogged continuously, I did enjoy the book. Dee S. Knight has done a good job of weaving a mystery that will keep you reading. I have to say, the author has a real knack for suspense...oh, and let's not forget very descriptive sex scenes. Pick up Man of her Dreams and prepare to be excited... in more ways than one!
