| When Rob brings his poisoned dog into Jamie's veterinary hospital for help, he never thought he would meet his mate. Jamie takes Rob's dog in for help, but when Rob disappears, the dog attracts the attention of animal control. Rob brings secrets and upheaval to Jamie's life, especially since Rob is a werewolf. But he also brings love and companionship, something Jamie didn't know he was missing. When an animal control officer starts harassing Jamie, things become dangerous and Rob's secret gets threatened. Can these Rob and Jamie overcome their problems and their fears for a chance at true love?
Sounds like a good book doesn't it? It has romance, suspense and a little of the paranormal. If only it had continued that way, it would have been a wonderful book. It starts off at a good pace and captures your interest right off. But then the plot gets lost in all the sex Rob and Jamie are having and just tends to drag on until towards the end it picks up the pace again only to disappoint again at the end. The characters are just too perfect; they say and do all the right things. Where are Rob's emotions? He has been through so much in his life to be so perfect. You would think he would be a little more screwed up. Even the minor characters left you thinking how could someone consider them a friend as they have no personalities. There is a lot of m/m sex in the book, so much so that it seems that that is all it is about. I wouldn't have been so disappointed in the book if the blurb had not sounded so interesting. If there had been a little more truth in advertising saying basically a hot man and a sexy werewolf fall in love and have a lot of sex and a few difficulties along the way, I don't think I would have felt so let down.
