Katherine Anderson was offered the chance of a lifetime and of her career, to teach the seminar at Oklahoma State University with Professor Kremsfeld.

The Professor has been having these symposiums for years now and this one is on marriage and family. When Kremsfeld phoned Katherine to confirm her coming the last comment he made was he was looking forward to meeting her and her husband. Husband! Katherine never assumed that was a prerequisite to the seminar. Not only that - where was she to get one!

Steve Colby, an upcoming author, had known Katherine since college and though he had tried once or twice to pursue their relationship further she seemed to keep it at a good friendship. When Katherine called him with her problem and a proposition, he didn't have to think twice about it. He would be more than happy to pose as her husband for a month.

A month may have seemed like a lifetime but Katherine found that being with Steve was not only fun it was a the start of a new relationship.

I did like the story found it very in-tune to today's women who have their careers first and relationships second. I like Steve's character. He is the patient and understanding soul. By the way are there any like him that are real?
