| Cade West has arrived for his friend's wedding, of which he'll be the best man. Once there, he's escorted to the resort by none other than the bride's sister, Melo, a woman who he hasn't seen since her gangly teenage years. She is now the most gorgeous woman he's ever seen. However, there's more -- her father makes him an offer he'd find impossible to refuse.
Melo Belucci has had a crush on Cade West since she was young. Seeing him again, reignites the feelings she once had. But this time she's going to give into the feelings, even if it leaves her with a broken heart. While also dealing with the fact that she could lose her father very soon, and that before then she has to solve the family's financial problems. Marrying Cade was a great story of two childhood friends who had lost contact with each other, but were reunited because Cade's best friend and Melo's sister were getting married. The plot and dialogue brought life-like realisation to this story, expressing the characters emotions in a way that illustrated their past and their present perfectly. Also, I really enjoyed the teasing dialogue, because it showed that both could have fun while dealing with the secrets they both withheld from everyone around them. As for the sex scenes, they were hot in exploring the great chemistry these two shared. What I enjoyed so much about the heroine was how giving she was to everyone in her life. But as soon as Cade came back into her life, she wanted more. While with Cade, I really liked his caring nature, and that he was willing to take Melo's feelings into consideration before making a big decision in his life that could very much change hers as well. Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed this story and can't wait to read more of this author's work.
