| What do girls talk about when they get together for lunch? You know it, men and dating, in that order. Katherine and Lucy are discussing the gala planned for later that night and the possibility that Katherine, if she meets someone interesting should take advantage of the moment. It isnt that she doesnt get asked out, but she chooses not to date guys she works with, due to bad experiences with co-worker dates in her past.
She is seriously attracted to someone she works with, but though he has asked her out several times, has till now always turned him down. Nigel isnt the traditional gorgeous hunk a girl might typically drool over but his bookish good looks make something sizzle deep inside Katherine, something primitive and dying to be let loose. This is a wonderful story, just for the great-guy-gets-great-girl type of reader. I especially enjoyed the description of Nigel and his hunger for Kat. The author has written a truly powerful description for such a character; just yummy. And was I rooting for Nigel when he decides to take the leap and force Kat into facing what she secretly desires. Definitely a recommended read.
