I was positively giddy when I learned that the continuation of the Dark Elves series was being published. Dark Elves II: Mastered is the story of Suzana, a virgin captured by the raedjour, and Krael, the dark elf who won the privilege of introducing her to carnal pleasure. Suzana was a heroine I completely sympathized with and I felt the terror and uncertainty she felt at the situation she found herself in. Krael was exactly what I would look for if I wanted a dominant male to teach me Domination and submission. He was imposing, masterful and commanding yet caring and compassionate. By far, my favorite aspect of the Dark Elves series is the illustrations. They provide a level of carnality that only visuals add. While Dark Elves II: Mastered can be read alone, you would be missing out on an extraordinary book in Dark Elves I: Taken. I hope more stories of Jet Mykles' Dark Elves are soon forthcoming.
