I am completely in awe of the master storytelling in this book. From the complexity of the characters to the action and adventure, the story drags you through the pages. Eva's humor in dealing with her problems had me laughing out loud at times. Her upbeat personality in the face of some serious challenges made me really like her. Smoke was the complex character, shifting from his human face of David to his Sidhe warrior Smoke with the powers of Cat. I loved how each personality worked to help Eva defeat Warlock. Again the humorous dialogue mixed with the fast paced adventure kept me entertained throughout. The sexual tension was off the charts. Ultra sensual and sinfully erotic, their sex scenes burned up the pages. The very real emotion displayed made their relationship very romantic and very profound. The secondary characters played a big part in the action and helped set up future books in this series. I can't wait to see which character will star in the next book. I do recommend you read the previous books since there are repeat characters and the whole world building will be lost if you're not familiar with it. Master of Smoke just might be my favorite of the series so far! Totally action packed with smoking hot sexuality brought together in this romantic tale of good versus evil!
