Finn York hates werewolves, ever since he was kidnapped by one. He was injected with a little of their blood and so is now neither one nor the other. He spends most of his nights at Wulf's Den and is very attracted to one of the waitresses. Jocelyn returns his interest, but nothing will come of it, she is a werewolf. Until one night when Finn gets too drunk and she has to take him home with her. Despite his prejudices, she is his mate and he will have to come to terms with what she is.

This is a fascinating story of a man who both hates and is drawn to werewolves. Finn's experience with the evil wolf Grendel has left him hating them, including his beloved sister and her mate. The rest of the family has accepted Billie and her mate, but he still resists and resists his attraction to Jocelyn. His resistance leads to some pretty explosive sex scenes and a very involving werewolf love story. The characters are very vivid and the plot line is engrossing. I loved the story and the recurring characters from the previous books in the series. This is a great addition to the series. There is conflict, hot love scenes and plenty of action to keep the reader interested.
