I can't remember ever reading a romance book that had the heroine sleeping with three men before making up her mind which one would be her husband. I'll admit I was leery of the concept, but by the end of the book I was totally captivated at how the author had lured me in. The sex with the hero who would be her chosen one was written with more emotion, while the other scenes were more about the lust. My stomach was in knots thinking about who wanted to hurt Nola. The suspense greatly added to the plot and I'll admit I never saw it coming as to the identity of the bad guy. I really liked how Nola's character was so strong, confident, and not afraid to get what she wanted in the bedroom (or wherever else they happened to be). I don't want to say much about the hero because I don't want to give away the ending. But I will say that the two who were more in the running were great characters and I would like to read more about the one who wound up being Nola's friend in the end. From the opening sentence to the last page, I could not put down this book! I wanted to skip to the back to see who she would choose. Nail-biting suspense and scorching hot sex make this a must read!
