At times I became rather angry with both Denali and Mala for the continued torture these two inflicted on one another. As adults, they knew the consequences of living in close proximity, that it increased the mating urge in Denali and brought out Mala's self righteous ways that made me grit my teeth in anger. At times Denali will doubt himself, making the test of their love so hard for him to bear. But with Mala's help, maybe both of these exceptional characters will come to learn and trust one another and help in making a very serious decision that will have an impact on their life together. The sexual heat experienced between them was well written and the loving and passionate encounters added a good spicy blend to the pages of this story. Ms. Lacy also showed us how two people from different cultures can overcome many obstacles in their love for one another... if they work together.
