His Kitten bails and Mason has no idea why but he's not about to let her disappear from his life. When Cat sees Maverick's identity using the webcam he provided her with, she freaks. Maverick is Mason, her boss! The man she delivers mail to. What's a girl to do when she's fallen into lust with a man who is incredibly rich, charismatic, and just happens to be her employer? Score one for the writing team of Maggie Casper and Lena Matthews! Maverick's Black Cat is a delight from start to finish. Cat's individualistic personality coupled with Mason's more controlling personality proves to be a combustible combination. The heat is on from the first time they connect in cyberspace and as the pages fly by, the heat intensifies. However, no story can truly touch a reader if the characters don't grow and develop as the relationship blooms. Lucky for us, both Mason and Cat learn some lessons about themselves along the way, deepening and changing their temperaments and lifestyles. You'll love watching Mason learning to give up control, just as you'll be enthralled with Cat's exploration of her sensual side as Mason tutors her on everything BDSM. This is a rare treat of a story, one that will leave you a bit hot and bothered but oh so happy for this duo to finally get the chance to express their love for one another. This reviewer hopes to see another writing project or two from the talented Ms. Casper and Ms. Matthews.
