Maxie is a tough and sexy woman who is strong in body and spirit. She is a wonderful heroine you will enjoy getting to know and who you want to survive this story. Since she was turned into a werewolf Maxie has only had the aid of her mother and herself. She refers to her inner werewolf as her "Beast" and struggles for control. Maxie is a highly sexual being who embraces her desires. When two werewolves find her she is scared and turned on at the same time because having two men may just be right to satisfy her intense craving and hunger, but she does not know their intentions. The two werewolves are Damien and Noah. Damien is the alpha of the pair and a private detective searching for others who have been turned. Noah is a carpenter by trade. Both are beautifully sculpted men whose craving for Maxie will have you drooling. The sex scenes are intense, violent, unpredictable and creative. The chemistry between Maxie, Noah and Damien is explosive. Just the mention of sex between Noah and Damien gets Maxie's blood boiling and will get yours also. The story pace is fast moving with many other supporting characters and a murder to solve between all the hot sex. The three-way kiss will ignite your own desires. This is a story worth re-reading and I look forward to more of Melissa Bradley's werewolf adventures.
