| Alex is a psychic that had a bad experience with the Academy when he was 10 years old. 12 year old Ginny was his only light in a place that was devoid of caring. He was rescued by his mother, but 14 years later, his paranoia seemed to be getting worse. He can barely stand to be inside enclosed spaces, and the colors of the academy, blue and tan, give him the creeps.
Ginny wants to help him, and thinks that she has finally figured out a way to do it. She's made a mock up of an academy office, and though the furniture isn't exactly the same, the décor is. She's going to try to replace his bad memories with some good ones, whether he likes it or not. Max Sec is about two people that have been scarred in the past, and are sometimes still struggling with that to live in the present. Ginny seems to have done better with her memories, but Alex seems to have issues even he isn't aware of. Both of them are very likeable, and I really cared about whether or not they were able to overcome Alex's paranoia. The sex in the book is hot and passionate, with a lot of emotion running between the two. I haven't read anything in this series, but now that I have read Max Sec, I will be sure to be on the lookout for more.
