Alison is in charge of helping Walter get back on his feet. He is in a wheelchair and she is determined to help him get over his handicap. She can't fight the attraction she feels for him and soon just wanting to help turns into a lot more.

Walter is used to being handicap and intends to show Alison that he is not less of a man because he can't walk. He liked her from the moment he saw her and is intent on having her in his life. Will she stay with him or run away?

This is a good book, but the ending feels rushed and you don't get to know the characters at all. Alison tries to be helpful and understanding, and Walter is not upset at all over his handicap. The discuss sex and sexual process as if they are discussing the weather, but the actual love scenes are sensual.
