Menage A' Spies begins as our unnamed narrator is about to make a new journal entry. Told in the first person we are treated to a spicy reminiscence of how a group of strangers became lovers in a core of friendship.

The narrator is an incurable matchmaker. Her best friend and life-partner Addie live across from a high-rise where they spot a handsome dark-haired man and Addie decides she must have him. Our narrator works a scam so they can get close to the virile Alberto and his charming sister Francesca. The couple is more than willing to become lovers with their newfound friends.

However the dark Alberto and his sister are under surveillance by the FBI as having dubious foreign ties. The three FBI agents are none too subtle with their stakeout and cameras. Warren and Robert are uptight suit-wearing attaché's to the government but our shameless narrator and partner Addie have no qualms about getting the two to loosen up and in a big way. They make it their goal to show the agents what they are missing in the civilian world.

Add to the mix the third FBI agent Sally. Repressed from a bad childhood of abuse, Sally does not understand her sexuality and although Alberto wants the opportunity to get to know the real woman beneath the badge, Addie and our narrator need to be sure Sally will benefit from the experience and learn to transcend her past. The result is sexual freedom and one-on-one lessons in sensuality and pleasure.

The deep love and understanding between the narrator and Addie make this odd mix of sex and friendship work as they live to enrich others lives through sexual awakening.

Written in the first person Menage A' Spies is unusual and quirky. Not for the sexually inhibited or boy meets girl minded reader, this romp includes same sex scenarios and voyeurism. The sex was plentiful but well written and furthered the light playful plot. The story line was unique and funny in its wild way and while this story is not for everyone, those with a sense of humor and irony in the bedroom will enjoy this spicy read.
