| Trinity Yeager has one week to escape Rapture's Colony. She is
to be sold to the highest bidder in a marriage auction. Her
headstrong ideas haven't been too popular with the bachelors of the
religious colony. Trin fears the abuse she will face at the hands
of any of the religious zealots that might buy her. Desperate to escape, Trin enters the off-worlders only bar in search of a mercenary captain in order to join his crew. It doesn't take her long to spot the mercenaries. One is fair and handsome, the other is dark and frightening. She immediately realizes the dark, cruel- looking one is the captain. She gathers her courage and makes her way towards them. Captain Nathan August was surprised to see the beautiful redhead walking towards them and even more surprised by her request to join his crew. He knew Trin wasn't cut out to be a mercenary and tells her there is no job for her. Trin is persistent. Finally, Nathan blurts out that the only job is as his sex toy. Trin accepts even though Nathan hadn't meant to make the offer. He tries to scare her off by saying she must also service his first officer, Sebastian, as well. Nathan is intrigued when Trin agrees. The three head to Nathan's ship for a night none of them will ever forget. This quickie is a wonderful read. Nathan and Sebastian bantering back and forth using their implants to transmit mental conversations that only they can hear is hilarious. The story is futuristic, but the author doesn't bog you down with a lot a space jargon. The sex scene between the three is so hot. Even though there is bondage involved, there is a tenderness to the characters and the story.
