Snow Day by Susanna Carr
Karen is a woman who never had real roots growing up, so when she turned eighteen she just stayed put. She has been trying to make a life and home for herself ever since, but she has a reputation about town and it's not a good one. Then she gets snowed in at a Christmas party thrown by the man she really wants, but won't let herself have. Tyler knows in his heart that Karen is meant to be his and together they can have a life together, the only problem is convincing Karen of this. Getting snowed in is the perfect opportunity to finally let his desires loose, but will Karen return his feelings?

This story is a great and quirky season read. Combining the holiday season with a chance for true love, Susanna Carr has come up with a great holiday romance. The sparks fly high between this couple and you'll laugh out loud at some of the antics that goes on. An excellent read for the Christmas season.

You Actually by Erin McCarthy
Josh and Cassidy has been friend since the day Cassidy moved in with her grandmother after he parents death. Josh has been revealing his feelings for Cassidy through his comic strip, but Cassidy doesn't seem to be getting the message. Christmas eve is the perfect time to make wishes; can Cassidy and Josh finally make a miracle come true?

This tale of best friends who become something more is a perfect Christmas tale. Josh is the sweetest hero I've come across. Cassidy is insecure about her place in Josh's life, but with a little Christmas magic this couple may finally get the love they have always wanted.

Undercover Claus by Mary Janice Davidson
Corrine is a cop who decides to try and stop a purse-snatcher. Of course it is Christmas so her best bet is to dress up as a Santa Claus. While ringing her bell and waiting to take down some criminal, she meets Grant. Grant falls for the Santa the instant he sees him and knows it's a woman inside the suit. He continues to return and give money to the Santa hoping she'll agree to a date. What he can't figure out is why she's there in the first place?

This story is really great and the ideal of a woman taking down purse-snatchers is great. You don't often see women in a dominant role, but Corrine is a kick-but cop who is willing to do whatever it takes to bring down the bad guy. Grant is a British man with a British attitude; he doesn't give up on Corrine even when she keeps turning him down. A great romance for the holiday season.

Making Waves by Donna Kauffman
Burke can't believe that now that their business is finally getting off the ground, his partner is about to desert him. Of course he's not leaving him completely in the lurch, he is calling in his granddaughter Kamala to take his place. When he sees her he thinks his Christmas wish has come true, but can he keep his hands off her? Kamala is good at sailing so when she goes to take her grandfather's place she never expected the man she would be working with would be so sexy. Now Kamala is thinking of making a few Christmas wishes of her own come true.

Sailing, Christmas and romance, what more could you want in a book. Kamala is a confident woman who knows where she's going and what she wants. Burke is a little skeptical of a woman being a good sailor, but he soon realizes his mistake. The fireworks are present from the very beginning and this couple makes a dynamic duo. Donna Kauffman has penned another story perfect to curl up with by the fire.

Silver Bella by Lucy Monroe
Bella is in the middle of a very bad slur campaign against her, she's a model and now has been revealed as an ice queen. Bella wanted a man who wanted her for herself, not some pen up trophy model girlfriend. Then Jack appears and she figures maybe all men aren't jerks. Jack is taking an avid interest is Bella and has every intention of showing her that all men are not alike.

Grant is a man to make your toes curl and your knees knock. Bella is a great heroine that goes to show never judge a book by its cover. This story reads quickly and will be over with before you know it. It also gives a small glimpse into the modeling industry and what goes on behind the scenes. This couple is hot, hot, hot and this story is sure to be a keeper.

Let It Snow by Nancy Warren
Marisa is used to predicting the weather and her cameraman Rob is never far behind, so imagine the shock when a snowstorm hits and they are on top of the building broadcasting the weather when the electric goes out and they are locked out. Stuck in the cold they have to rely on each other to survive, but maybe in the process they will knock down some emotional doors and find out if there is something more to their relationship.

Take two people and put them in a funny situation and you get this story. Rob likes Marissa, but isn't sure how she will react to his declaration. When they get trapped outside he figures why not go for it and boy does it pay off. Marisa is not thrilled to be trapped in the freezing cold on the roof, but she can't suppress her feelings for Rob any longer. A couple that's hot enough to melt the snow, this story always keeps you turning the pages. A must have if you are snowed in.
