This was a quirky, yet sensual quick read. Jack makes for one fantastic hero. He is strong, sexy and determined to win the heart of his long-time love. I'm afraid I didn't have as much of a connection with Merry, even knowing her past I just did not feel as if I saw into her heart. The setting was fantastic and the cast of supporting characters were wonderful. Rose is a marvellously, meddlesome magician; I'd love to encounter her at one of my family gatherings. I can't wait to revisit this island and the interesting people who inhabit it.
