When they were in high school, one night of passion changed Joe and Merrys’ lives forever. Merry learned shortly thereafter that she was pregnant, but Joe was nowhere to be found. She gave their son up for adoption with Joe never knowing he was a father. Years later, an ex-lover dumps a baby in Joe’s lap and disappears. He hires Merry as his nanny and house decorator, but never recognizes her as the girl he slept with so many years ago. Joe has a secret why he wants to keep a baby that’s not his. Merry has a secret too and it could tear them apart.

What a touching and emotional story. Ms. Moore has done an amazing job of bringing the reader into Joe and Merrys’ lives as they are now and when they were teenagers. The stress and worrying and all the emotional upheaval that comes with a teenage pregnancy will have your heart constricting with sympathy. The characters are phenomenal. The emotional entanglements Joe and Merry find themselves in make them human and bring out so many lifelike qualities. Merry’s constant worrying and over thinking her situation and her problems are endearing. I found myself going through the whole gambit of emotions while reading this story. Everything from sympathy and heartbreak to love and happiness and everything in between. The situation that is foisted upon them is hilarious and yet heartbreaking at the same time.

While the story has a great emotional pull to it, the sex scenes are not disappointing in the least. This book will leave you satisfied on more than just the emotional level. Even though the sexual chemistry between Joe and Merry started ten years ago, when they come back into contact with each other, it’s as if those years just melted away. If you enjoy stories brimming to the top with emotions, full of hot and spicy scenes that will keep your attention throughout, this is the book for you.
