| There are so many different ways a person can meet their man; this story is about the way Stephen meets his. It starts when he gets home and he has two cards in the mail, one is an invitation to a masquerade party and the other has a darker message "I've been inside your house". Strange things begin to happen, up until the day of the party, where he might possibly have met Mr. Right. That is if the mysterious masked stranger would quit popping up.
This was a good story. It kept me on the edge of my seat trying to guess what was going on. It also ends in a strange twist as do most of this author's stories though it just made the story more engaging. I am glad it was short though as I do tend to get impatient trying to figure out what is going on. I can't say that I really liked the character of Stephen; he just seemed too shallow for me, even though he did grow emotionally throughout the story. There are some m/m situations that some people might find objectionable, but they are well written and help get some of the points across in the story. This is a good read for those who like a mystery that leaves you guessing to almost the very end.
