Michael is a broken archangel doomed to rule over Hell because of his one sin--sleeping with a mortal! God has set forth this punishment and Michael intends to accept it. When Zeus commands him to protect his daughter until the time she knows who and what she is, before the demons of Hell can get her to join with them, to use her unknown powers, thereby shifting the balance of power-- good and evil. Then demons would be free to take earth and anyone, as they please. Zeus's one command to Michael is, 'Do not sleep with her.' Michael has every intention of honoring the command, after all that's what got him in trouble and ruler of Hell it the first place!

But as Mercy and her friend Keisha go to Club Pregatory for a night of fun, Mercy has strange vibes about the place, until she meets the hot archangel Michael! Just seeing Michael makes her juices flow, and when he touches her she immediately goes up in flames. Her senses tell her to run but she does not listen-- she only listens to her lust.

Michael is immediately drawn to the petite woman, choosing her over her buxom friend. Usually he likes busty women but some unknown force is pulling him toward Mercy.

When demons roam the club and Michael incinerates a man who was cheating the casino, right in front her eyes, Mercy knew she had to leave this crazy place. She thought back over the drinks she consumed-two, no she was not drunk! Then why was she seeing men with three heads?

Two Words: BUY THIS! I have never before been so engrossed in a book like this one. Not only does Ms. Gilmore show her creativity, but also her blending of Greek myth's with the Creator, merge into a natural blend that leaves readers breathless. I am only sorry that I did not read her first Hot House book!
