But the question Nick wanted the answer to most was who was the beautiful woman with the greenest eyes he'd ever seen? Nick had felt such a strong attraction to her; more powerful than anything he had ever felt. Things were happening too fast for Rae. First Ginny's death, then Thomas's suicide and now Bette was handing over everything Thomas worked for to Kazmir Zanlos. There was something dark and evil about Kazmir Zanlos. But what part did Nick Flynn play in all of it? Rae hoped he was innocent, judging by the strong emotional pull she felt for him. Rae couldn't let feelings stop her from finding out who was really responsible for the deaths in her life. There were unnatural things going on and Rae hoped to find the answers before someone else died. Once again Nancy Gideon writes a story that will have you totally captured from beginning to end. The passion that grows between Rae and Nick is hot and erotic, and kept this reader spellbound. And what of Gabriel McGraw, a cop/vampire who helps Rae to discover the truth? Ms. Gideon's vampires give true meaning to the words hot and sexy. With each book, I found myself in a world of danger, excitement and passion. It is no easy feat to write a story that continues into a series, but Nancy Gideon does an outstanding job. If you are a collector of vampire romance, then this series is one you will definitely want for your keeper shelf. I have mine and I know that I will enjoy them for years to come. Enjoy!
