Rayne would rather be with his cell fighting Rogues than searching for a wolf who is killing Rogues. When that wolf turns out to be a beautiful woman, he’s intrigued. Intrigued turns to desire and he soon find that Suma is more than a kindred spirit. And just maybe he can come to terms with his own secret.

Sparks fly when Suma and Rayne meet. Both are honorable and loyal, willing to sacrifice everything to protect. But when it comes down to basics, they are lonely and live on the sidelines. The past plays a huge part to this loneliness and they must make peace with themselves, before they can find happiness. This has the reader rooting for them to be together, needing each other. Suma and Rayne’s growing relationship smolders and ignites into provocative and sensual loves scenes. Secondary characters add to the story and create an interesting twist.

While each book in the series stands alone, the world the author has created develops and expands. Woven through each book, the authors gives the reader a bit more of what is to come. I like that. It has you itching to read the next book.

Excellent characterization, dialogue, action scenes, and attention to detail regardless of the type of scene makes this book highly entertaining to read. I highly recommend this book indeed this series for all those vampire romance lovers.
