I haven't read the previous books in this series and it's probably not necessary. However, references were made to events in the past books that made me wish I had already read them.

I really loved this book. The action began on the first page and I was hooked until the very end! It was very hard to anticipate what would happen next. I didn't know who was good and who was bad and the suspense kept me entertained throughout. The characters were the best part of the book. Holly and Niol were perfect for each other. She was confident and strong yet still was no match for Niol in either department. Niol was about as alpha as you can get and I love how his feelings for Holly really changed with way he looked at life. The chemistry between Holly and Niol was steamy. I loved how their lust for each other drew them together but it also made them get to know each other better. The sex scenes were both sexy and tender. I highly recommend this book and will be searching for the two previous books while anxiously awaiting the next book by this author.
