| Billionaire businessman Skylar Remington has to take a break or it could mean the end of his life. His blood pressure is up and, worse than that, he has a fatal heart condition which needs to be treated. That means no more high-powered career for him, at least for awhile. So, he’s taking a break and getting back to pastimes he enjoys, such as woodworking. And, getting to know his neighbor, Evie Parker.
Evie’s introduction to Sky was scintillating to say the least. Waking up to the sounds of the shower running next door, she catches a glimpse of him in the buff and the view is delicious. Sure, she’s a bit guilty, but how can she say no to his muscled body? Just as Evie is busy catching glimpses of Sky, so too is he interested in Evie and the haunting music she creates each night. He’s not sure what it is about her that draws him in, but his boring struggle to get healthy is about to get a whole lot more fun with Evie and her son AJ as his neighbors. But can Sky’s heart survive Evie’s gentle love? Midnight Sonata reverberates with sensuality and character harmony. Sky and Evie are assuredly opposites. Sky is used to the high-life, brokering deals and going through women with no regard to their feelings. Evie has experienced love and happiness once before and is reluctant to try again. How can it compare to her beloved husband? Together, they work out a tentative but strengthening relationship that is passionate and true to their natures. Neither can give nor receive love easily, but as they work past their hearts’ barriers, they find that love is a gift they long to accept. Dee Tenorio’s Midnight Sonata will leave you enraptured.
