This is the first book I've read by this author. I enjoyed it, although it was difficult to understand at times due to some confusing grammar. Tara was easy to understand - her actions and motivations were simple and straightforward. She simply wanted to be the best sub she could and to please Raven. Raven was a bit more complex - the book went into more detail about his various relationships and he was obviously struggling with some past issues. I felt like the author stayed true to the story, in spite of my occasional confusion. The characters all pretty much behaved like you'd expect and it played out fairly predictably, with a few twists to keep it interesting. There is quite a bit of sexual variation in this book - bondage, m/m, voyeurism - and also some standard "vanilla" sex as well. I was hoping for a happy ending, and the author didn't disappoint. This was a simple and sexy story about life in the world of BDSM.
