| Personal trainer Minx Tobin figures things are settling down after her last adventure. If she's lucky, maybe she can get the attentions of hunky police lieutenant Gabe Harris in a more personal way. Well, she's half right. But just when she and Gabe seem able to explore a personal relationship, one of Minx's clients is murdered. Maybe this time Minx cam reign in her curiosity and keep herself out of danger. But I wouldn't bet on it!
This may be the third book the series, but aside from a few small comments this is a story that can be enjoyed even if you haven't read the first two books. Minx and Gabe make a really sweet couple, while the rest of the characters in the book are cliché but in a really fun way. Like the competitive neighbor who consoles herself with jewelry or the egotistical boy toy. I love reading mysteries, but I also tend to know early on in the book who did it. However, with this story I wasn't sure until quite a way into the story which was a nice surprise. It also easily kept my attention and drew me in. I will definitely be watching for further book in this series to see what the future holds for Minx and Gabe.
