Every Halloween Mandy Rovela's grandmother leaves her house because of a haunted mirror said to contain a ghost. When Mandy's friend Lincoln Baron dares her to spend Halloween with him in the house she takes him up on the offer. Linc has alterior motives because he is actually in love with Mandy and hopes this night will be the turning point for their relationship. Unbeknownst to Linc,Mandy feels the same way towards him, but refuses just to be another passing fancy. The mirror becomes the danger in their plans for the night as the ghost inside, Dominic de Sange, is determined to finally free himself into the spirit realm where he belongs. Dominic is an earth mage who needs the sexual chemistry Linc and Mandy have in order to go ahead with his plans and will stop at nothing to get it.

This enticing read was over far too soon. Linc and Mandy are in for a multitude of surprises once they agree to spend the night at her grandmother Nonna's house. Dominic becomes very important in bringing these two together. The character's are well developed and the ghostly qualities of Dominic fit in perfectly with the whole plot. Ms. Harte does a wonderful job conveying how well-suited these three characters are together. The spiciness of the tale does not take away from the goal of Mandy, Linc and Dominic. The ending is very surprising and keeps the reader guessing. I really enjoyed reading this story and look forward to seeing more from this author.
