Mary Winter pens another well crafted tale of love and friendship in the finale to this series. Van presents a special challenge because his plans may cause him to be the first to tear himself away from the store he helped found. We learn the secret of how Van has been able to get identity papers for the men who have none because they officially died many years before. Given the comic book aspects of this the author does a great job as she mixes humor and eroticism into some realistic scenarios of male bonding and support.
