Cord Hardin has hired a tutor to help smooth some of his rough edges. His language, manner, and behaviors are definitely a bit tough and since he is determined to win the heart of Veronica Lake Powers, a woman he has been chasing since high school, he knows he’ll need help. He’s sure that with Cindy’s help he’ll be just the man Veronica is looking for. Except, Cord can’t help wanting to get Cindy beneath him for some rough time of their own!

Cindy can’t believe Cord wants to change for a woman. Though they’ve just met, she already likes his rough but appealing and honest manners, his coarse language and the sex appeal he exudes from every pore. He’s a cowboy to his core and the one man Cindy can’t have since he is so determined to win Veronica. Or is he? Will Cindy be the woman who will show him just how appealing his country manners and tough language are?

Miss May is another incredibly sexy story from Madison Hayes! Cindy and Cord have a very instantaneous attraction that carries the book from the first page to the last. I loved how Cord wanted to improve himself, it was very sweet. At the same time though, I was glad Cindy was able to show him that he is already a wonderful man who does not need to change his image. She knows she isn’t perfect either but in each other’s arms, flaws are forgotten and only love and lust remain. This is a very sexy book! Cord really knows how to please a woman and Cindy is more than willing to be that woman. Though I felt a bit bad for Veronica, after all, Cord had been dating her; I knew in my heart that what Cord and Cindy had together was too important to pass up. Bravo Ms. Hayes!
