| Octavia Smith, aka Octavia October, was a romance writer worth 5 million dollars! She was so used to men falling for her because of her money that she was relieved to have Alex in her life. A gorgeous male model, he seemed to be interested in her not her money. While hurrying home to prepare for her date with him, she passed a broken-down old car; a few miles down the highway she met the driver hitchhiking! She refused to stop for him. Then she had a flat! He caught up to her and changed her tire—for a price!
Bolt Hardin needed a ride from this lonely stretch of highway where he was stranded. He managed to talk Tavia into not only giving him transportation, but also allowing him to spend the night at her house until he could get from Santa Fe (where Tavia lived) to Albuquerque (where he lived). He did not like Alex. Ms. Madison Hayes writes a dramatic, highly intense, story about an overweight author of romance and a man of unspecified means, who seem to fall in lust very quickly. The style of writing Ms. Hayes uses is not for the faint of heart. The storyline is wonderful; the greatly detailed and graphic sexual encounters are eye-opening! She does an excellent job of weaving a story without allowing the descriptive elements to dominate. While this story is more graphic than I usually read, it is a beautiful love story which you will enjoy.
