April flirts for her life gladly with her hunky customer, Mr. D. Cristofer. The man reeks of pure male animal, images of sweat-covered bodies and rumpled sheets brought to the front of her mind every single morning he visits her little store and that over the last two years. Their teasing about getting together turns serious when she shocks him by giving in and accepting a date on the spur of the moment. Just as she thought might happen, he first says he has other plans, then that he will change them, and after telling her to get dressed nice takes her to his home instead of the expected restaurant, making clear by his actions that his only thoughts are for a quick tumble in the sheets. And HE is shocked when she gets upset. He has to backtrack and recoup to get in her good graces again. April finds it very hard to face the fact that D isnt playing with her, that he actually has enjoyed the last two years flirtation and that he wants MORE. She sees only their differences and none of their common ground. It takes her shock when she finds an unexpected object in an unusual place to possibly ruin anything theyve begun to build together. Now D really has a problem.

This was a wonderful story. To make D into such a real man, a feeling man with all the weaknesses and strengths he might have; wonderfully descriptive in shaping his personality. April is a woman full of the insecurities one might have when faced with a man who is not your every day guy next door, a woman who needs honest reassurance. Just a luscious love story for those who enjoy romance with their hot sex, to go right on your TBB list.
