Santa is now in the matchmaking business when a family has an iron-clad rule about mistletoe and a family of single siblings… In Mistletoe Mischief, single parents Eric Riley and Marissa Wilder are not expecting romance on a school field trip to the zoo in July but when their two daughters, mistletoe and Santa come in to play, all bets are off. Then in Mistletoe Magic, Major Mark Riley dresses up as the Court Jester in Janelle Walsh's Snow Queen court for he local Christmas Parade and discovers that the spritely redhead is the women he just evicted from his new property. It may take more than mistletoe and Santa's magic to solve this problem. And finally in Mistletoe Match-up, Lisa Riley and Derek Walsh pick up their long standing competition when Lisa comes home for her brother's wedding but this time Derek plans to win more than the battle.

If you are looking for a really cute and funny set of Christmas stories to brighten up your holidays, you will enjoy Mistletoe Rules. The Riley siblings are all strong characters who don't stand a chance against Santa's magic and the Walsh family. I honestly don't have a favorite story. I enjoyed all three and loved the way they are interconnected. The Riley family tradition, of always bestowing a kiss when found under Mistletoe, is just the beginning of their downfall when Santa has romance planned for each of them. It is bad luck to reject the "Mistletoe Rule" and no Riley wants to chance that especially when challenged by their mischievous siblings. Ms. Netzel is a new author to me, but I found her sense of humor and writing style entertaining and I will be looking for more books by this talented author.
