Johan is leader of the Vilhelm clan and wants to mate with Kira and join the two clans to create a more powerful clan. He has heard the rumors about Kira and knows it will take a strong man to bend her to his will. He believes he is that man and together they can become the most powerful rulers ever. Now he just has to convince Kira of this plan.

This book is really interesting and there is also a lot of action packed into it. Kira at first can come off as arrogant, but soon you see that it's only for show. Johan is confident in his leadership's abilities as well as his power to convince Kira to see things his way. He does so by using every weapon in his sensual arsenal. Marianne LaCroix has created another intriguing story in the vampire world and is sure to please readers of all genres.
