| At the request of his sister-in-law Ana, Clay Russell heads to Blackhawk Farm with the intent of getting the horse breeding business up and running and making money. Clay believes that Rusty, owner of Blackhawk, is a guy. Imagine his surprise when he arrives at the farm to find that Rusty isn't a man but a beautiful curvy woman, naked and using an outside shower leaving him with a serious case of instant lust.
Rusty is grateful to Ana and her intervention to help Blackhawk Farm and help to get her horse breeding and training business running smoothly again. After a past that she'd rather forget, and a series of incidents have left her with lmited options, she can't help wishing she could do it on her own. But when Clay arrives, she's knows he'll be more than just a business partner. Strong arousal soon has her grappling for control. As passion rages between Rusty and Clay, someone with evil intent is determined to make sure that Rusty fails. Wow, this book is HOT HOT HOT! I adore cowboys but what captivated me the most is Ciana's rather unique mix of a modern day cowboy and a witch with ties to the elements. There was also a good dose of suspense to keep the reader glued to every page. I loved it. Clays oozes sex appeal. Rusty is earthy, elemental, and dedicated, yet she has a fun side. I loved the interaction between these two as they try to fight the inevitable. Moreover, when they do come together, expect an explosion of passion that is intense and magical. Oh, and did I mention Rusty's familiar? Well he's intriguing and because I can't think of another suitable word to express myself, I loved him too. To find out what he is, you'll need to read this story. You won't be sorry. Molding Clay is the second book in the trilogy titled Hot in the Saddle and boy, is that so true. This book stands alone but to me the best reading experience is to read Ana and Chases story in Chase 'N' Ana, which I thoroughly enjoyed too. I'm eagerly anticipate reading the third story in this marvelous trilogy. It's a must read, especially for those of you who, like me, love novels featuring cowboys and witches. Together they make for an absorbing and exciting combination.
