Jenny Romano suspects her fiancé is losing interest, so she sneaked through the woods in the dark to his lakefront cabin to check up on him. What she found was Steve’s barely dead body in the bedroom and a dead woman out on the patio. When the killers came back Jenny ran into the woods led by Andy Mulligan, a retrieval expert, hired by the insurance company to recover priceless objects stolen from a museum. The post-stress tension releasing sex with Andy blew her socks off in spite of lying on the cold stone floor of a cave while men with guns searched for them just outside. Jenny thinks she might be falling in love with Andy. She only hopes they can stay alive long enough to find out.

Jenny is a sympathetic character who is kind, honest and with Andy she’s really hot in the sack. Andy is her ‘fantasy come to life’ with his handsome physique and his protective, gentle demeanor toward Jenny. It wasn’t only the adrenalin rush that made sex so good between them because it is still just as great every time. I was amazed that as the story is written it doesn’t seem strange Jenny had sex with Andy within half an hour of meeting him. Nor does the frenzied pace of the progression of their romance seem odd under the circumstances. The fast pace flows smoothly from beginning to wonderful end and the reader is washed along in the wake of this deliciously romantic, albeit unusual, love story. This well written, well plotted and well executed saga has action, mystery, suspense, really hot sex, clever dialog and the kind of romance that causes hearts to flutter, making A Moment of Madness a story with something in it for everyone. I recommend reading a Moment of Madness. It is certain to put a smile on your face.
