MONA LISA AWAKENING is a debut novel by Sunny. In a field inundated with mediocre novels with the same type of premise as this book, MONA LISA AWAKENING stands out front and center. Sunny crafted this carnal novel into something fresh and special that this reader could not put down. There is high voltage action and sexual tension within the first chapter that never lets up until the last page. The wording and descriptions detail every nuance and characteristic with finely tune accuracy... creating cohesion with the characters and the magical world built just for them with worded finesse, which kept this reader glued throughout the entire novel. If this book is any indication of this author's exceptional writing ability, then she has a loyal fan in this reader and she will have many more to come. Mona Lisa never knew who her real parents were. She was adopted as an infant, with only a silver cross around her tiny neck. Her life has not been filled with a loving environment or conducive to her true nature. With the chance meeting of one very special man--a man that will open up her natural instincts to bring her full circle with her true destiny. One filled with treachery, sexual awakening, magic, demons and much more. This is a great fantasy/paranormal book. This reviewer does have one word of caution. There are a couple of scenes in this book that are extremely gory in nature. If you have a weak constitution, then this book may not be for you. With that said, this reviewer does see a road in erotic romance paved in pure gold for this new author. And, MONA LISA AWAKENING is a must read.
