Inspirational romance
Available from The Wild Rose Press
April 2007

Hayley Jansson has come to the St. Labre Mission School to forget and to teach. Jonathan Tall Bull is a coach, a great listener and someone everyone admires. The two are attracted to one another but seem to need the help of a spring snowstorm and a deer in the road to help them share their feelings.

Jessica Joubert has penned a well constructed tale of romance, values and healing. She's built Hayley's character without a lot of detail but we know she was abused by a man before coming to the reservation. Maybe it was originally an escape from the past and her memories but she loves the place, the people and has come to love the man who has been her friend and coworker.

Jonathan is descended from a long line of people who are respected and admired. Like his ancestors he seems to be the kind of man people look up to and implicitly trust. He's been able to help Hayley cope with her past in a way that helped her move on more than anyone else. Too bad nothing but the fast moving pen of the author has been able to get the guy to admit he loves the woman!

It seems like we’re missing parts of their past and parts of their relationship but the story is still a cute tale of true love coming when we least expect it.
