Not only is it heartbreaking and agonizing, but it will make you also angry at how her suffering came about. But with Cole's help along with his brothers, Marin will discover her true self, emerging like a butterfly from its chrysalis. Growing strong both emotionally and physically. Discovering that Marin is his mate of course brought out the protective instincts within Cole, making him also having to face some difficult decisions that made this story truly heartwarming and so romantic. With careful plotting and planning Cole and Marin touching romantic interludes were well written with just the right touch. You will come to appreciate how this author blends not only the horrors that Marin will face, but also how she makes the secondary characters come alive within the pages of this book. You will laugh and sometimes cry a little as Cole and his brothers help protect not only Marin but also one another from the wickedness of a man truly bent on revenge and control. This story is book one in the Aston Grove Werewolves Series, and I truly look forward to reading and learning more of what happen to this family.
