Keefe Schuyler and Tara Wolcott took a chance when they went on a blind date. On a chilly October night in Batesville, Arkansas, they set off for a romantic hayride expecting to have a good time. What they didn't expect was a ride that would take them to a different century and transform them into Nels and Ivy Hayworth, a brother and sister living in the Ozarks. Trying to assume the identities of their new bodies, Keefe and Tara are hard pressed to learn the names of all the friends and neighbors without revealing they are not who they appear to be. They dare not share their story for fear they will be deemed crazy. To add further suspense to the story, someone is trying to kill them and they don't know why.

A good author knows how to draw in a reader and keep them captivated. C.J. Winter's writing style in Moon Night certainly indicates an abundance of talent. The story is realistically told with convincing historical details, and very real emotions. I found myself totally feeling the frustration of two would-be lovers whose dreams are thwarted by immediately becoming siblings. Moon Night is a wonderful blend of romance, humor and mystery, and I promise you'll be delighted with the ending.
