Julia and Xavier are both Weres, but different types. Julia is a werewolf, and Xavier is a Werelion. They don't think that either one would be attracted to each other, but they can't deny the powerful sexual chemistry that they have between them. There's no they could have more than that, right?

Funny and sexy, this book has it all. These are two strong willed people that are having a hard time believing that they are attracted to one another, and it makes for some funny moments. Julia is unapologetically a "man eater" and is proud of it. She uses men like nobody's business, and can't figure out why this one man should be so attractive to her. She's willing to give it a try though, at least until it fizzles. Xavier can't believe he's attracted to a wolf, of all things, especially since he's a lion in his other form! What's fun is that both of them are completely clueless when the attraction happens, and even though they are difficult people they are both very likeable. Both of these things really made the story work for me. I had a wonderful time reading Wolf Mates: Moon over Manhasset, and if you are looking for a good laugh it's definitely one to pick up.
