|Bobby Stockwood was sure he had found his soul mate. The minute he set eyes on Abby, it was love at first sight. His other two marriages had not worked out, but he was certain this one would last, so he got down on one knee and proposed. Unfortunately, when morning arrived, a bit too much alcohol caused Abigail Martin not to remember a thing. She knew her biological clock was ticking away, and she hoped to find the right guy someday, but never this way. She can't be married to the handsome man in her bed. When Bobby enlightens Abby as what happened, her mind is still cloudy. Not only is he really handsome, but he can cook, and no one had endowed her with so many nice compliments. He owns a ranch and doesn't believe she has to work any longer. Abby must see exactly how legal the marriage is before they start playing house. When she learns a little more about Bobby, she must decide if she really wants this warm loving man to stay in her life forever.
The Morning After is a story this reader absolutely enjoyed. I immediately fell in love with Abby and Bobby. They were tight-knit characters that really grab hold without letting go. The chemistry they share is wonderfully written and the dialogue great. They have a way of keeping the pages turning, while engaging the reader in this delicious story of love, romance and discovery. Brenda Whiteside has penned a story that excites. She makes the ambiance of the story real and keeps it flowing at a good pace to not lose the reader. Her storytelling is simply divine. She makes falling in love at first sight truly real in every sense of the word. A recommended read by far.
