I've been a fan of Ms. Holcomb since her debut novel, Rock Star, and she does not disappoint in Morning star which is the sequel. I was fascinated by Harley in Rock Star and was impatiently waiting for his story. Harley has an intense personality with a hidden heart of gold. Andi was the perfect mate for Harley's outgoing personality with her restrained manner. Together they were like fire and water which made the love scenes very steamy!

The main characters were easy to connect with and developed into better characters as the story progressed. The secondary characters were also intriguing with the introduction of some new characters and reconnection with some familiar ones. The story was perfectly paced with an appropriate amount of time between the couple meeting and falling in love. Their instant mutual attraction quickly turned into an undeniable attraction and eventually to love. The plot was believable and had a mostly tidy ending. There were some questions that remain but Ms. Holcomb may answers those questions in subsequent novels or novellas as she has done in the past. Ms. Holcomb definitely kept me on my toes with this one with a couple of unpredictable twists in the story. However, she revealed all in a manner which was natural and believable. Overall, I was extremely pleased with the book and will recommend it to others.
