| Captain Chris Shuler has just discovered, and just casually mentioned to him it was, that someone very special to him is coming back home. It has been 20 years; a very long twenty years. He had spent his young years loving Tyler from a very close distance. After graduation, he left town for college and Tyler went to Reno. He tried, once, to get over his feelings by marrying another but that attempt ended in divorce. With his love now within reach, he is finally going to stake his claim.
Tyler and her friend Courtney have run a business for years in Reno, starting out with high hopes which quickly turned in to worries. Reality had been much harder than expected and at one point Tyler had decided on starting fresh, with a second shop, in another town. That led to the decision in picking the hometown of their youth, since the location would be much more cost saving for them. Efficient shipping lines, lower cost of living could possibly make this new start a success. Tyler is now back home and will spend the next few months getting everything lined up for their new shop. But there is a problem following Tyler from Reno and she will have to be very careful. The opening scene to this story is just perfect; no other way to describe it. It is just about the most vivid description of a man in love that Ive seen in many a story. The plot running parallel is suspenseful and very well written. An excellent story and most definitely a recommended read for all romantic suspense fans.
