I liked this story a lot. This is the first paranormal erotic romance that I have read where the heroine is the one that will do whatever it takes to win the hero's heart. She will have to fight to earn his trust. I felt sorry for Damien he is so afraid to love and give his heart to a woman again. He feels he has no future with a human. Miranda will stand her ground and refuse to leave when Damien orders her to go, and he does so repeatedly. He is stubborn, but he has met his match in Miranda. She knows that her happiness lies with him. I also enjoyed the secondary characters they made me laugh. This story contains very explicit love scenes and language.
