| Tony Poletti's wife is dead and he could be indicted for her murder. She may have been unfaithful but he would never take revenge by ending her life. He is gradually losing his eyesight but refuses to give up his job. He knows one day he will have to resort to other measures of employment but not yet. After meeting Janet, an attraction forms, but fear of being falsely accused of killing his wife, he tries to keep his distance.
Janet Gallagher has been dating Fredrick for some time but when he decides they will marry, Janet isn't sure. She loves her job working in her dad's construction business and Fredrick is a good partner but she doesn't think she's ready to marry him. When she meets Tony there is something about him that makes her heart hammer in her chest. After six months, Tony doesn't know who killed his wife, Carol, but he is innocent. Due to an incurable eye disease, he rebuffs any diminishing eyesight to get him down. Janet works with her father's construction business and Fredrick has an interest in her and the business, of which Janet believes steers more toward the business. After she strikes up an acquaintance with Tony, the two stir up new emotions neither have ever experienced as Tony fights for his innocence. Muddy Water is a poignant read that should not be missed. Not only does it have the elements of suspense, but there is a touch of romance that brings incredible happiness. The story captivates as Tony and Janet fight their emotions for each other that only climaxes with intensity. With the darkening voices of Carol, Mr. Dragona inspires an intriguing read. He pens a believable character with a disability facing many obstacles. Muddy Water is an excellent read that keeps the reader guessing and I find it commendable when characters with disabling challenges emerge as true winners.
