Claire Jenson was still recovering from the death of her husband just a year ago and now her daughter's death too. How was she supposed to cope with this? True was only nineteen years old, now she was dead, strangled in her own apartment. Claire was numb; she had to tell Lannie that her sister had been murdered?

Detective Sgt. Martin Slade worked for the Violent Crimes Division and his partner, Detective John Minelli, stood looking at the young woman before them. She was so young, how could someone do this to her, why would they? All the evidence pointed to the fact that she knew her assailant. Martin knew this was going to be a hard case; they had no leads to follow…yet!

Martin loved his job, for the most part, but he could do without this part. Claire Jenson looked so out of place in his office. He admired the strength she showed when facing him. But her daughter Lannie was hiding something. Lannie was with True's ex-boyfriend. Martin found out that Brian Zelinsky had broken up with True to be with Lannie.

Claire finds a letter that True had sent to Lannie, just days before her murder. Why was Lannie hiding it? Inside was a disk, well Claire had to read it and what she read shocked her to the core. True had some how gotten involved with men on the Internet. And one of them was threatening True. Claire had to call Detective Slade; he needed to know about this. She may have found a good lead to her daughter's murder, a lead she realized Lannie had hid…why?

The writers of Law and Order couldn't have written a better murder mystery. The plot is very well written and I was on the edge of my seat as I read page after page of this action packed story. Beth Anderson touches on a subject that can be all too true in our society today and gives this story a powerful message to others who go on-line. It is refreshing to have a hero and heroine that have some maturity and reminds us love doesn't discriminate against age. Your mind will change at least twice, as you try to figure out who the killer is. If you love a story that keeps you in suspense until the very end, then be sure and get Murder Online soon. Enjoy!
