Kate should have known her luck was too good when she was invited to a Murder Mystery weekend at a secluded Scottish Highlands estate. Someone is stalking the invitees and one by one the guests are becoming real victims. Kate doesn't know if she can trust sexy Sam, who is certainly hiding something. Her options are limited with a malicious killer on the lose.

This was a suspenseful steamy romance. This story had so many of my favorite elements; a location in the beautiful Scottish Highlands, a strong heroine, a gorgeous, secretive hero and a murder mystery. Kate was very easy to relate to and I loved how absorbed she was by the details of the manner house and the handsome man who catches her eye. Sam is a mystery all of his own but their attraction is definitely not hiding. The sparks fair set the place on fire and add in the urgency of the situation and it is a winning combination. The secondary characters were amusing and I enjoyed their antics. The puzzle wasn't so obvious that you felt deprecated but it wasn't so complex that you could not rationalize it either. I highly recommend this if you are a fan of intrigue with your erotic romance.
